Terms of Use

Last updated:

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at mlappliancerepair.ca (the "Site") or engaging the services of Maple Leaf Appliance Repair ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services

Maple Leaf Appliance Repair provides residential and light commercial appliance repair and installation services in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, BC. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosis and repair of refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, ranges, and freezers.
  • Appliance installation services.
  • Warranty and post-repair support as outlined in your service invoice.

We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion, including for safety reasons or appliances outside our scope of expertise.

3. Booking and Appointments

Appointment requests submitted through our Site or by phone are subject to technician availability. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email. We ask that you provide accurate information about your appliance and the issue to help us prepare appropriately. A service call fee may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking. We require reasonable access to the appliance and a safe working environment for our technicians.

4. Pricing and Payment

Repair estimates are provided after diagnosis and are subject to parts availability and pricing at the time of service. Final pricing may differ from initial estimates if additional issues are discovered during repair. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit, and e-transfer. All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes.

5. Warranty on Repairs

We stand behind our work. Labour performed by our technicians is warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of service. Parts installed by us carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we will facilitate on your behalf. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, power surges, subsequent repairs by third parties, or pre-existing unrelated conditions. Warranty claims must be reported to us within the warranty period.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maple Leaf Appliance Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website, including loss of data, loss of profits, or property damage not directly caused by our technicians' negligence. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
